Niihau,
although privately owned and with limited access to visitors, is sometimes included in the list of Hawaiian Islands. However, it is not a typical tourist destination.

It offers world-class beaches, the scenic Road to Hana, Haleakala National Park, and opportunities for snorkeling, surfing, and whale watching. Kahoolawe, while not typically visited by tourists due to its uninhabited and restricted nature, is included in the main Hawaiian Islands. It is currently undergoing restoration efforts after decades of military use. Hawaii, also known as the Big Island, is the largest and youngest island in the Hawaiian chain. The Big Island offers a remarkable range of landscapes. It boasts active volcanoes in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, stunning black sand beaches, lush rainforests, and dramatic waterfalls.
